Ethical Property - Green Fish Resource Centre
Summary
The origins of our Centre in Manchester date back as far as 1929, when 46-50 Oldham Street was converted into one of Marks and Spencer's first stores in 1929. We have owned Green Fish Resource Centre since 2004 and it is currently home to many charities and voluntary groups working across a variety of sectors.
The Centre is situated in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, a focal point of the Industrial Revolution as the city became the capital of the world’s textile industry. Today, it is one of Manchester’s most vibrant areas and is home to numerous independent shops, cafes and bars as well as a host of social change organisations.
